We made it!!

Well Melanie and I made it to G-Ville safely. What a crazy time to want to head up with the Tropical storm heading right for where we want to go.  We had a lot of things that slowed us from getting here but we made it. 

 

The whole adventure started with me getting off work early with was a total plus because we wanted to leave early so we could miss the bad weather that we were going to be driving in to. That whole dream was crushed when I went out to my car to set the G.p.s up. I though to myself it’s raining a little so I should back my car up in to the garage. Well I guess I was feeling a little proud of myself for thinking of such a good idea or maybe it is just the fact that I did not do the maintenance that I should have either way God had a different plane than what I had set out. I went to go start my car and all I heard was "click click click" No I said to myself cant be I just put a new batter in 3 months ago and the car just rain last night!!!! Well after about hour and a haft I got the new battery and installed and ah finally on our way!! Only thing left was to head to Melanie's to get some boxes and the fill up on gas. Oh yeah the drive through Tampa also.

 

Has anyone ever told you that traffic in Tampa is crazy they really need to figure that whole mess out. I mean look at what the Romans did they were master at it. The road engineers should take a little history before they go spending 5 billon and 10 years on a road they are going to keep working on after its complete to add for more cars!!! Okay moving on sorry so we got through Tampa and on to the wide-open road we had smooth sailing. Till we hit the STORM, which we were trying to leave early to miss unfortunately, we got off late so we hit the rain and wind. Let me tell you the wind was crazy I was following Melanie and about 5 times I though she was going to run off the road because of the wind.  FREAKED me out!!! The rain was nuts heavy and coming down hard we could not see a thing.  We saw two cars off the road in the ditch. I called 911 for one of them because no one was stopped and the car was on its side in the ditch. The 911 operator was hysterical she was all cheerful and excited she seemed like she loved her job.  After that whole thing we finally saw the exit sign we made is Hooray! We pulled off and made it to her house safely. What an adventure. Thank you God for getting us here safe!
